Master Bedroom Styling with Decorist

I’ve never had a bedroom quite like this one before…a personal sanctuary – our master bedroom! It’s taken months to complete but finally all the pieces are in place and I could have never dreamed up something more perfect. I teamed up with the folks at Decorist to bring the eclectic vibe I was looking for to life.

When Elite Decorist designer Lauren Martin sent me her initial design I knew she was THE designer for me. I wanted a room that was airy, chic and eclectic with a Hotel-esque vibe. Why Hotel-esque? Most boutique hotels have a combined bedroom-bathroom space…one flows into the other seamlessly. I wanted that open floor plan and achieved it with the clawfoot tub (in the room) and left the doorway to the bathroom completely open.

The style comes to life with Moroccan elements and vintage touches. I love how rich the space feels but also equally modern and fresh. The 4 poster canopy bed from Bed, Bath and Beyond is a stunning focal point that I would have never picked myself! I love how we paired the light finish of the bed with the dark contrast side tables from One Kings Lane. Lauren also added accent pieces throughout the room, a wicker chair and eucalyptus ladder from Cost Plus World Market add earthy, natural touches that I adore.

The details of the room brought it all together…the gorgeous plants she picked (hello tree in my bedroom), and the mix of prints from Artfully Walls. I just love it all! Thank you to Lauren and Decorist team for creating such a stunning space for me to escape to!
