This entry has been a long time coming. It’s been a secret little dream of mine and now it’s come to fruition. You guys may be scratching your heads wondering what in the world is emily.v or the shopemily.v Instagram she keeps tagging. And I’m finally here to tell you everything…

emily.v lowercases with a period in between is a brand I am launching this month! I have wanted to create my own brand forever…but, it was never the right time in the past. I was so focused on my career as an influencer and growing in that area. Something shifted in me this year and the desire to create something tangible reached it’s all time peak. I knew it was the right time.

I began thinking and asking YOU GUYS what you wanted as far as products went and the answers were so obvious. Hats…scarves…that’s what came to mind instantly for most of you and for me.

There was a huge gap missing in the hat market. I would constantly look for a specific hat I wanted…flat top boater style, medium sized brim, neutral to white color. And I could never find it! I did find something similar once and it was marked at $400 which I would never spend. So, I set out to create the hat I wanted for much less than that.

I’ve been working on emily.v since the end of last year….and it’s launching very very soon. We will be launching with a small capsule collection of core items for the brand: three different style hats that I think every woman should own, and four limited edition hair scarves that are handmade in LA.

These pieces are all meant to be worn together and worn endlessly. They are classic colors and styles that will go with practically any look.

I’m wearing The Oliver in this post. A beautiful woven matte black hat. I say matte because that’s the finish I wanted to create. Have you ever noticed that almost all black straw hats have this weird shine to them? It’s the perfect summer hat, super wearable and timeless.

The launch date is not confirmed as I am still waiting on production but I will keep you guys all posted! Thank you for being MY INSPIRATION, MY MOTIVATION and for guiding me to this wonderful new journey. Can’t wait to see what’s in store.
