With Fall in full force I decided to try out some new trends…and guess what I am loving them! I am a firm believer in adding touches of trendy pieces but keeping the outfit classic and relatable. There is nothing worse than a head-to-toe trendy look, trust me!

After doing some much needed street style research (and when I say research I mean scrolling through the ‘Gram) I decided to focus on two style I felt were “IN” but could also be staple pieces for a lifetime.

The first are mules, specifically metallic mules like the ones I am wearing from Steve Madden called Infinity. Mules have been popular since the 50’s believe it or not but this open toe metallic version is a fresh take on an old style. I  slipped these babies on and instantly felt like a cool girl.

I paired the Infinity mules with cropped flare denim jeans from Joe’s Jeans and I must say this style, The Olivia in Regan, pushed my boundaries of comfort in the denim department. I am normally very basic when it comes to denim so I thought…why not try something new! What I loved about the Olivia’s were the fit…oh.my.goodness they hugged my curves and felt so incredibly soft. Plus, the cropped length was perfect for my petite frame.

I purchased both The Olivia and Infinity mules from Zappos…delivery came within a few day and was free plus the service was great (as always!) I paired the look with a staple stripe blouse and olive green shoulder bag.
