As you all know my love for the 50’s and 60’s is strong.
They are possibly the two decades I seek and gain the most inspiration from, fashion wise.
We all know about the full midi skirt but a style that is highly overlooked is the cigarette pants.
I remember coming across photos of Marilyn and Jackie O,
Casual photos of them in their home or at the park…and they were always wearing these beautifully fitted pants.
For curvy girls, these pants are a must!
It brings you in at the waist and accentuates all your lady parts.
I paired it with an equally era fitting blouse that I undid and tied at the waist.

This post is also a bit special to me because it features my Alex and Ani bangle set in honor of my late grandmother Jenny.
I wanted to create something to wear every day that reminded me of her.
The J is for her initial, the white Sweet Pea charm represents nostalgia and memories and the Omh sign represents the universe.
She is apart of me everywhere I go and it’s nice to have a physical representation of that on my hand.
Check out the amazing line of Alex and Ani bracelets and create an arm party that is more than just pretty jeweled pieces!
Create something that represents you.
