I find that 70% of my days are spent in coffee shops. It’s a way of life here in LA. We are obsessed with coffee and even more obsessed with boutique, Instagram-worthy coffee shops. I constantly find myself on Instagram searching for new ones to visit and of course to take photos in (because we all can’t get enough of the sipping-your-latte-oh-so-casually money shot). Which leads me to this post – I wanted to share with all of you my favorite Instagram-worthy coffee shops. I hope this inspires you Angelenos to adventure to another part of the city and I hope this inspires you out of Towners to really experience the LA coffee culture.

Cafe Flora 

Pink + Pretty

This cafe is the new kid on the block and the current reigning champ of Instagrammable coffee shops. It’s located inside Mansur Gavriel and is as sweet and girly as the brand itself! I’ll be honest, I haven’t been yet but the ambiance and overload of pink are so darling I can’t wait to go! Perhaps tomorrow…

The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker 

Chic + Full Menu

Another fairly new hot-spot (at least for me) is The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker. Everything from the ambiance to the menu is perfection at this European-meets-Californian cafe. They have a full menu with drinks, coffee, food and dessert. Plus the interior is GOALS.

Bardonna Coffee

Quirky + vintage

Not only is this cafe cute and quirky, it has AH-mazing food and multiple locations: Larchmont (my favorite) Brentwood and DTLA. The Larchmont location has a cool plant installation hanging from the ceiling along with an artsy spray-painted heart wall which is the perfect backdrop for an Instagram photo! Unfortunately they closed shop on my top location in Silverlake but the menu seriously makes up for it!

Carrera Cafe

White + Airy

Two words. LATTE ART. Not only is this cafe covered in white brick and amazing tile they have over 20 latte art designs you can choose from and you can even customize your own! They’re also known for their ever-changing brick wall outside…remember the infamous lip wall you saw all over Instagram? Yup, Carrera Cafe…I’d suggest staying posted on their socials to see what art work is there before you visit! Oh and their Chai Latte is my FAVORITE.

La Topenzia Bakery

French inspired

This LA bakery takes you right to the Champs Elysees…ok not QUITE but it’s the only cafe in LA that has that European vibe. Think lined chairs looking out onto the street and the most buttery croissants on the Westside. The location is not the greatest but the photo-op makes up for it! That’s where I’m at in all of these snaps.

Verve Coffee

Light + vibrant

Verve is known for it’s coffee. They are the King’s of craft coffee in LA with three unique locations. There is no point in Instagramming a coffee shop if you’re not equally obsessed with the coffee, right? Each location is unique with gorgeous greenery and outdoor spaces. My favorite location is the one off Melrose Ave. but their DLTA location is a close second.

LaB Coffee

Hipster + Modern

LaB Coffee is one of the more unique coffee shops in LA. Not only is it incredibly Instagram-worthy it has such a unique fun theme – the coffee and creamers come in beakers, test tubes, and other science lab inspired items. My personal favorite? The ice cream with a coffee pour over. Snap some cute photos and enjoy the fun atmosphere.
